PRESIDENT
My name is Sarah Denmead (pictured with husband Darren), and I’m the second President of our Association after Jayne Vought.
Why did you volunteer for the position? I volunteered for the committee after working with Kristie Kearney to assist our community to connect with help and each other following the 2019/2020 Black Summer Bushfires.
What’s been the highlight of your involvement? Meeting so many people who love the Valley as much as me. The diversity, experience, generosity and talent of our local people brings joy and inspiration every time.
What have you learnt about yourself? When dealing with bureaucracy patience trumps passion. I already knew I’m impatient.

Would you like to add anything else? It’s an exciting time for Wolgan and the Lithgow area. Come and join us to have your say and make lifelong friends – you’ll be amazed who lives along Wolgan Road.
