Have you ever wanted to know more about the great people that make up our Associations’ Committee? Follow us each week on the lead up to the Wolgan Valley Association Annual General Meeting on Sunday 11 September 2022 to learn more about each of the Committee members. This week it’s the Association’s Treasurer Dawn Bower.
TREASURER
My name is Dawn Bower (pictured), and I’m the Treasurer of our Association.
Why did you volunteer for the position? I think I was volunteered! I joined the Committee as we are a small community and I could see the advantage of a united voice.
What’s been the highlight of your involvement? Getting to know my fellow Committee Members and meeting other residents of the Valley.
What have you learnt about yourself? Perhaps I am too straightforward as I tend to tell it like it is.
Would you like to add anything else? Our Valley is unique – quiet, isolated, beautiful and yet close to all the facilities of a major city. However, we do have some problems – the deteriorating condition of our only access into the Valley and the fact that the Valley has been ‘discovered’.
We all need to have a say in the future of our Valley. Please consider joining the Committee of the Wolgan Valley Association and/or have your say.
